About Bowen Children's Centre
green underline

Bowen Children’s Centre is an incorporated non-profit Society that’s home to three core programs for children: Bowen Island Preschool, the Community Daycare and The After School Club. The Centre is a resource hub for the community’s young families, and offers seminars and workshops on a wide range of topics relating to parenting issues and early childhood development.

At BCC (given that our full legal name is cumbersome, we do business as Bowen Children’s Centre, or BCC) we know that children’s early years are critically important and we strive to provide the best possible services.

A volunteer board of directors guides the Society, and an executive director manages its day-to-day administration.

Bowen Children’s Centre is located at 650 Carter Road, on Bowen Island. The Preschool, Community Daycare and administrative office are on the upper level of the building while the lower level is occupied by Bowen Island Municipality and the Bowen Island Youth Centre. The After School Club is situated in a dedicated room at nearby Bowen Island Community School.

BCC is a registered charitable organization and gratefully accepts financial or in-kind donations.

Charitable registration number 14105 1672 RR0001.
