Membership
Bowen Children’s Centre’s members are the parents or guardians of a child or children enrolled in at least one of our core programs. You become a member upon registering your child; membership ceases when you no longer have a child enrolled at the Centre.
This Society belongs to its membership. Members are encouraged to be actively involved — serving on the volunteer Board of Directors to guide the Centre’s progress; organizing and supporting maintenance and fundraising initiatives; offering suggestions and feedback. They are welcome in the programs at any time.
Our members are an eclectic bunch. Creative, entrepreneurial, resourceful, diverse. A community within the community.

Shane Tweten - Fine Artist Influenced by the Northwest Coast, Shane was taught mask carving styles of the First Nations people and now applies it to his own heritage of Irish, Scottish, and Norwegian decent. His carvings are clean, polished, unique and are of gallery quality.
