Stong’s Online Shopping Program
Stong’s Grocery Store has an online order and delivery service, deliveries to Bowen Island are on Thursdays. It’s a mighty easy way to shop.
Better still, Stong’s has a ‘school program’ that can support centres such as this one by donating 4% of the value of your online order to the educational organization of your choice.
It doesn’t cost you anything. It’s Stong’s that makes the donation, based on the value of your grocery order or gift certificate purchase. Even small amounts can add up quickly. If you order groceries through Stong’s Online, please choose Bowen Children’s Centre to receive donations through this program.
It’s very, very easy:
- when you get to the Online Checkout, scroll down to the ‘Shipping Information’ section.
- Beside the words ‘School Rebate’ there’s a box that says: ‘Please Choose School for Rebate Program’.
- If you click on that box, a menu will pop up. Please click on Bowen Children’s Centre. That’s all there is to it!
- Stong’s will donate 4% of the value of your order to our Centre.
- Thank you!
You don’t have to live on Bowen to direct Stong’s funds to this Centre. People in the Lower Mainland who order from Stong’s can also designate Bowen Children’s Centre as their chosen recipient of the store’s charitable contribution program. So please pass this information to friends and relatives in town.
Remember: you’re not adding to the cost of your groceries – it’s Stong’s that is making a donation, based on the total value of your order.
