Where are we?
Bowen Children’s Centre is located on Bowen Island, a small-ish island situated a twenty minute ferry ride west of Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver, B.C.
More precisely, the Centre can be found at 650 Carter Road – the big red building with the green roof, and colourful, multi-level playground in front.
Directions from the ferry
Follow Government Road west up the hill, through the intersection. Continue up the hill until you see the Bowen Island Community School playing field on your right. At the fork in the road, stay left. About 1/4 km along, you will see a road branching off to the right, with a sign-board. That’s Carter Road. Turn right onto Carter Road, and you’ll see the Centre.
For parking, take the gravel road turnoff on the right as you start down Carter Road.
